Steps to navigate through changes you control and those you don’t
Turbulent change in our workplace is an everyday occurrence. New technology, mergers and acquisitions, market forces... you name it, and most organizations are experiencing it. How your organization reacts to these changes depends on one thing: its people.
In the 2006 Best Practices in Change Management Report, a survey of 500 executives concluded that “resistance to change” is the main reason why organizational changes fail. Arming yourself and your employees with the necessary skills to navigate any work-related change is the focus of this workshop.
This session will outline how your organization can navigate these turbulent times. You’ll leave this presentation able to:
- Recognize the different reactions to change you and your employees may face.
- Identify the elements you can and cannot control of a work change you are currently experiencing.
- Begin outlining an action plan for successfully transitioning through your change.
